Non-ionic, anionic, cationic, amphoteric surfactants

Fatty alcohol sulfates are primary anionic surfactants which provide excellent foaming and cleansing properties to personal care and home care consumer products. We supply a wide range of these surfactants available in different salt forms (e.g. sodium salts, ammonium salts) and also in different carbon atoms chain length using sulfuric acid which boosts mass production after combining.

Ammonium lauryl fatty alcohol sulfate offers improved property and mildness. There are various grades of fatty alcohols available that are easily dispersed in water and come in different physical forms. These long chain fatty alcohols are also available in high purity.

Fatty alcohol ether sulfates derived from fatty acids have low skin irritation property, making them suitable for mild cleansing as well as baby products. Fatty alcohol ether sulfates come in low to high active versions, with 1 to 3 EO average chain.

Fatty alcohol ethoxylates are products which are anionic surfactants derived from natural fatty alcohols. These anionic surfactants (Ethoxylated lauryl alcohol) are applied in a wide variety of applications and their function is strongly dependent on the chemical composition. The Hydrophilic/ Lipophilic Balance (HLB) determines which non-ionic surfactant is best for a certain application.

Detergents (wetting agents, emulsifiers), personal hygiene products (shampoos, skin softener, foam boosters, Viscosity builders), leather (degreasing, wetting), fabric paints, and agriculture (emulsifiers, spreading out) all use the HLB value.

In the detergent business, alkylbenzene sulphonic acids (LABSA) are mostly used to make a detergent cake, dish washing liquid, oil soap, scouring bar, washing, cleaning, and detergent powder. Linear alkylbenzene sulphonates are also used in anionic speciality formulations, increase farming herbicides spray quality, and are used as a mercerizing agent in the fabric sector. 

Foam Viscosity Boosters
BETAINES Fatty alkyl (amido) betaines/sulfobetaines are amphoteric surfactants, zwitterionic in nature. They have excellent foam boosting/stabilizing capability and help in building viscosity of anionic based formulations. It also reduces the irritancy of SLS based formulations.

ALKANOLAMIDES Fatty alkanolamides are non-ionic surfactants that provide excellent viscosity building and foam stabilization in personal care products. They are also widely used as a lather stabilizer for laundry and dishwash detergents

AMINE OXIDES These exhibit wetting, emulsifying, cleaning, foam stabilizing and thickening properties in various formulations.

Mild Surfactants

Mild cleansing is one of the growing needs in personal cleansing industry. Cleansing technology has come a long way from “cleansing only” concept to one that includes other benefits such as mildness, moisturization, etc. Mild Cleansing is nothing but cleansing without disturbing the biological function of stratum corneum, the uppermost layer of skin.
